Having received forgiveness, we choose to pass it on to others.

The penalty for sin has been paid in full by Christ, "it is finished". By adding my own punishment to someone who has "sinned" against me, I am actually acting as if Christ's work on the cross wasn't enough! Realizing that; how could I possibly go on in unforgiveness, hurting my Savior the entire time...
